On the morning of June 1, 2018, Jingtian & Gongcheng’s Shanghai branch signed a contract with East China Normal University Law School to build a practice center at its law school building. Three partners from the Shanghai Branch — Zhuoru Li, Jianjian Feng, and Lizhi Yuan, Party Secretary of Law School — Huihong Zhang, Associate Dean — E Cen, Assistant to the President — Hao Yu, Youth League Secretary— Qinyi Wang and Chenhui Scholar— Jun Wang attended the ceremony, which was hosted by Associate Dean— E Cen.

Law School Party Secretary— Huihong Zhang opened the occasion with a welcome speech to the three attorneys from Jingtian & Gongcheng before diving into a full description of the School of Law. Jingtian & Gongcheng partner—Zhuoru Li gave a brief introduction to the overall situation of the firm and the speedy development of the Shanghai Branch.

Jianjian Feng whole-heartedly hoped that the signing of the contract to jointly build a training base would be a win-win situation among the university, the school and the law firm. Additionally, Jingjian Feng spoke about the team development of internet security and data privacy in the firm.

Lizhi Yuan, an alumnus of East China Normal University, expressed his sentimentality towards the school and the university and cherished deep memories he had of the deep-seated humanistic culture on campus. Additionally, Lizhi Yuan sincerely wished for a stronger collaboration and deeper communication between the school and the firm.

At the end, Jingtian & Gongcheng and the Law School signed the building contract for a joint training base and attended an unveiling ceremony for the training base. We look forward to more and more outstanding legal stars from this Law School joining our Jingtian & Gongcheng family.
