On June 1, 2018, Jingtian & Gongcheng, together with KPMG China and Haitong International Securities cohosted “Hong Kong Actively Embraces the Emerging Economy”. The roundtable meeting was attended by Zhirong Mao—Chairman/General Manage/Director of Domestic Development, key partners from Jingtian & Gongcheng, KPMG and Haitong Securities, distinguished investors as well as enterprise representatives from the emerging economy sector. The conference was hosted to discuss the challenges and relevant solutions which listing emerging enterprises and economy would face in the current new economy landscape.

At the conference, Mr. Hu discussed current hot topics in legal issues faced by emerging enterprises to be listed in Hong Kong such as how a Parallel Fund as an investor goes public in Hong Kong, VIE latest trends and piloting full H-share convertibility etc.

Zhengzheng Hu is a partner at Jingtian & Gongcheng and he specializes in capital markets, private equity, foreign direct investment and foreign capital M & A with broad industry experience including value-added telecommunication services (mainly the internet), sports and entertainment, new energy, real estate, mining, media and advertisement, retail, pharmaceutical and other traditional manufacturing sectors.
