第11届香港仲裁周（Hong Kong Arbitration Week，简称HKArbWeek）将于2022年10月24日至28日举行，旨在积极推动亚洲仲裁业务的发展。竞天公诚作为本届香港仲裁周的合作伙伴之一，参与支持于10月26日举行的亚洲替代性争议解决大会（ADR in Asia Conference），欢迎各位同仁进行报名参与。

ARBITRATION AND ALTERNATIVE FEES: NEW LANDSCAPE, NEW OPPORTUNITIES?

仲裁和替代费用：新格局，新机遇？

Hong Kong has submitted an amendment bill (Outcome Related Fee Structures for Arbitration (ORFSA)) to the Legislative Council to propose three new fee arrangements to allow lawyers to charge for arbitration cases pursuant to the principles of “no win, no fee” and “no win, low fee”. The new law, which is expected to come into force late in 2022, goes a long way to increasing Hong Kong’s competitiveness as a leading arbitration hub.

In this session, our panel of experts will introduce the amendment bill and discuss how clients can benefit from the new developments, and briefly explain the anticipated regulatory framework, and highlight the expansion of alternative financing options including litigation finance in Hong Kong.

香港已向立法会提交修订法案（仲裁结果相关费用结构（ORFSA）），提出三项新的收费安排，允许律师按照“不赢不收费”和“不收费”的原则对仲裁案件收费。新法预计将于2022年底生效，大大提升了香港作为领先仲裁中心的竞争力。

在本环节中，我们的专家小组将介绍修订法案并讨论客户如何从新发展中受益，并简要解释预期的监管框架，并将着重介绍包括诉讼融资在内的替代性融资方案未来在香港的实施与扩展。

The world of cryptocurrency has been volatile in recent times, with high highs and low lows, and the sector has started seeing disputes in recent years, with many more to come. ADR in Asia Conference 2021 explored what cryptocurrency is and what regulations are applicable. This year, the experts will discuss how arbitration procedures could be optimised for crypto disputes and first learnings from disputes already underway.
