Just recently, Mr. Xu Cheng came back to Jingtian & Gongcheng as senior advisor.

Mr. Xu Cheng was founding partner of Jingtian Law Firm (predecessor of Jingtian & Gongcheng). In 1994, he joined the largest private company Cargill USA, in charge of PRC legal affairs. Before returning to Jingtian & Gongcheng, he the Chief Legal Counsel of the greater China region of Cargill, and was member of Cargill’s global legal executive team.

Mr. Xu Cheng joined law business in 1986 and achieved lawyer qualification in 1988. He has over 30 years of experience in M&A, JV, FDI and corporate legal affairs. He is recognized as the most senior professionals in the business.

Mr. Xu Cheng’s return will further strengthen the professional capabilities in related areas, and the entire team of Jingtian & Gongcheng is excited.

Mr. Xu Cheng got his undergraduate degree from Peking University and LLM from Peking University and Duke University.
