On December 14, Competition Ordinance, which is called Hong Kong’s anti-monopoly law will take effect. Gregory So Kam-leung, Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development of Hong Kong SAR said on 7th that this is a historic milestone to promote free market competition in Hong Kong.
Competition Ordinance is thought to be the biggest institutional change in the area of commercial law in Hong Kong in the past two decades, and Hong Kong businesses including mainland Chinese companies are facing compliance risks. The seminar is held at the Beijing office of Jingtian & Gongcheng.
