From October 27 to 30, over 70 new members who just joined Jingting & Gongcheng’s family participated in the boot camp in Beijing.
The new members are from Jingtian & Gongcheng’s offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Chengdu, which include fresh graduate students from law schools, as well as young lawyers already starting practice. They spent 100 hours together, sitting in history lessons of the firm, partners interaction and outdoor training events.
Three founding partners of Jingtian & Gongcheng Peng Xuejun, Zhang Hongjiu and Bai Wei made a comprehensive introduction about the history of the firm. The new colleagues were deeply impressed by the impact and contribution of Jingtian & Gongcheng to the development of China’s legal service.
Twelve partners from different fields came to the boot camp, among whom were distinguished senior lawyers on China’s capital market, as well as newly-promoted young partners. They had in-depth dialogues with the new hands from different perspectives. In the early winter time in Beijing, the meeting room was filled with warmth and there were occasional laughters.
In the boot camp, several dozen new colleagues formed provisional teams to play confrontational games. Ice was broken between strangers very quickly. During the several days’ collective activities, they were assimilated into Jingtian & Gongcheng’s culture of equality, respect and cooperation, and laid a solid foundation for the close cooperation in their future works.
