February 1, 2010, CCTV.com acquired all software copyrights owned by QuickFirer Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd., for a consideration of CNY 7,700,000.

CCTV.com is a subsidiary of China Central Television (CCTV) and engages in operation and management of national Internet TV programs and other new media businesses. QuickFirer specializes in research and development of network acceleration technologies and holds self-developed intellectual property rights for core network protocol optimization and transmission algorithm. CCTV.com aims at accelerating its network platform construction through this transaction.
