Ms. Lina Huang obtained her degrees from Peking University and Seoul National University, holding dual Bachelor's degrees in Law and Economics, as well as a Master's degree in Law.
In 2021, Ms. Huang joined Jingtian & Gongcheng and was approved as a partner of the firm in 2025. Prior to that, she worked at the Beijing office of Bae, Kim & Lee LLC and at King & Wood Mallesons.
Ms. Huang specializes in foreign direct investment, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, data compliance, and the culture & entertainment industry. In the field of foreign direct investment, she provides full-cycle legal services for enterprises, including investment structure design, entity establishment, investment and M&A advisory, as well as subsequent equity transfer, asset restructuring, and liquidation. In cross-border M&A, she has been deeply involved in two-way investments between China and Korea, leading end-to-end services including industry policy research, transaction structuring, due diligence, drafting of legal documents, government filings, and post-closing integration. In the field of data compliance, she helps enterprises build compliance systems, conduct personal information protection impact assessments, and implement compliance rectification measures. In the cultural and entertainment sector, she provides tailored legal solutions in copyright management, license/permit approval, and risk control in commercial cooperation.
Ms. Huang’s clients include Fortune Global 500 companies from China and Korea, large central state-owned enterprises, leading private companies, and innovative companies across various industries. Her project experience spans key aspects of corporate cross-border development. Ms. Huang has in-depth experience in strategic industries such as TMT, healthcare (including medical devices and cosmetics), advanced manufacturing (including shipbuilding, chemicals, and construction), and energy & agriculture (including natural gas and livestock). She assists clients in navigating complex legal challenges in foreign investment market access, cross-border transaction structuring, data compliance governance, and innovation in the entertainment industry, achieving a precise balance between business goals and compliance requirements through industry-specific legal services.
Ms. Huang currently serves as an International Director of the Korea-China Law Association, a Member of the Beijing Cultural and Entertainment Law Association, and a Certified Data Compliance Professional with the Shenzhen Data Exchange. She is listed in the Foreign-Related Lawyer Talent Pool of the Beijing Lawyers Association and contributed to the Korean publications Chinese Company Law (Second Edition) and Business and Law in China, both published by Parkyoungsa in Korea.
