Ms. Liuqing Yang graduated from Southwest University of Political Science & Law with bachelor degree in law and obtained the Master of Laws from Georgetown University Law Center (with the Certificate of International Arbitration and Dispute Resolution).
Ms. Yang mainly concentrates on cross-border commercial dispute resolution, domestic litigation & arbitration, bankruptcy & reorganization, annual legal services, and employment & labor. She has represented clients in various lawsuits before the Supreme People’s Court of P.R.C and other courts in Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Liaoning, Shanxi, Chongqing, Hunan, and Hubei provinces. She has also represented clients in the arbitration proceedings under the rules of the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, the Beijing Arbitration Commission, the Shanghai International Arbitration Center, the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration and the Hong Kong International Arbitration Center. Ms. Yang has provided legal services related to many countries or regions including Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Macao, the U.S.A, Barbados, Korea, Singapore, Spain, Sudan, Italy, Russia and Bulgaria, etc. The industry sectors she involves in include investment and finance, private equity funds, international trade, energy, science and technology, infrastructure, real estate, biomedicine, etc.
Ms. Yang selected as a “Rising Star” in the “Dispute Resolution: Arbitration” category of the LEGALBAND China Top Ranked Lawyers in the 2023 edition, and selected into the Talent Pool of Lawyers concentrating on foreign-related affairs of Guangdong Province (pioneer talents) and the Talent Pool of Lawyers concentrating on foreign-related affairs of Shenzhen (new star). She is a member of “One Belt, One Road” Lawyers Alliance of All China Lawyers Association, a member of Shenzhen Legal Service Team on foreign-related affairs, a member of the Commercial Arbitration Professional Committee of Shenzhen Lawyers Association, as Deputy Secretary General, a member of the Cross-Border Dispute Resolution Committee of Guangdong Lawyers Association, and a council member of the Alumni Association of Southwest University of Political Science and Law in Shenzhen, etc.

Represented an electrical appliance enterprise and its listed subsidiary against a bank in Shanxi Province in an approximately CNY 2 billion dispute over a shortfall compensation agreement. The case was eventually settled through reconciliation to the client’s satisfaction.
Represented a Kunshan fund partnership against other investors in an exceeding CNY 200 million dispute over a partnership contract. The court of first instance has rejected all the investor’s claims, which was upheld by the court of second instance.
Represented a private equity fund in an investment dispute with a Tianjin precision instrument company. Under the circumstance that the annual turnover of the target company only reached 10% of the requirement and the new round of share issuing might block the client’s redemption, the client pressured the counterparty by launching a litigation and two arbitration cases at the same time upon our suggestion, and finally realized its redemption at a premium of more than RMB 20 million, and eventually withdrew from the case. The first instance of the litigation case was under the jurisdiction of the People's Court of Dongli District, Tianjin, and the two arbitration cases were under the jurisdiction of the Shenzhen International Arbitration Court.
Represented two private equity funds in a dispute concerning compensation and redemption with a Shenzhen-based optoelectronic technology company. The arbitration institution is the Shenzhen International Arbitration Court (SIAC), and the case involved more than RMB 50 million. Before the arbitration tribunal was constituted, the property preservation was successfully obtained, which realized that the shareholdings held by the principal shareholder and the bank accounts of the target company were blocked, forcing the counterparty to pay for reconciliation immediately.
Represented a Shenzhen fund in an arbitration case against the principal shareholder and other shareholders of a target company for redemption, the arbitration institution was the Shanghai International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), and the case involved exceeded RMB 50 million. Before the arbitration tribunal was constituted, the property preservation was successfully obtained, which blocked all the shares of another listed company held by the principal shareholder (the only valuable asset that could be found by public information), with a market value of more than RMB 30 million, and freezing all the shareholders' equity interests in the target company in another court. Prior to trial, the principal shareholder was forced to reconciliation and provided guarantee for the compensation.
Represented a Shenzhen industrial equity investment private equity fund in a redemption dispute with a well-known real estate enterprise and its affiliates, which involves exceeding RMB 1.3 billion, with the Shenzhen International Arbitration Court (SIAC) as the arbitration institution.
Represented an insurance company and a construction group company in a series of equity transfer disputes involving nearly RMB 3 billion in the Beijing No. 2 Intermediate People's Court.
Represented an insurance company in a debt assignment dispute with a construction group company and an asset management company, involving more than RMB 350 million, before the Beijing No. 2 Intermediate People's Court.
Represented an insurance company in a debt assignment dispute with a company, involving more than RMB 420 million, before the Beijing No. 2 Intermediate People's Court.
