Xiao jiajia graduated from the University of Sheffield with a Master degree in law.
Mrs. Xiao has worked in Jingtian & Gongcheng since 2024 and was approved to be a partner by the firm in 2024.（Prior to this, he/she worked 10 years with Guantao Law firm as partner.）
Mrs. Xiao specializes in domestic and foreign securities issuance, funds and private equity, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring and reorganization, and energy-related investment and acquisition. Mrs. Xiao has been recognized or recommended as a leading lawyer by various rating agencies, including IFLR1000, The Legal 500, and ALB China.
In the area of securities issuance and capital markets, Mrs. Xiao has represented several companies in has provided legal services for multiple companies in areas such as the issuance and listing of domestic and foreign stocks and bonds, as well as mergers and acquisitions of listed companies, including AUPU Group Holding Company Limited (0477.HK), Sunny Optical Technology (Group) Company Limited (02382.HK), Vobile Group Limited (3738.HK), Hangzhou Huaguang Advanced Welding Materials Co., Ltd. Mrs. Xiao also has extensive experience in the area of M&A and PE financing. She has represented domestic listed companies and well-known domestic and foreign private equity investment funds in acquisition and private investment transactions. The legal services provided include conducting due diligence, designing transaction structures, participating in negotiations, drafting project documents, and offering legal opinions, among others. Her main clients include Hundsun Technologies Inc. (600570.SH), Zhejiang Provincial New Energy Investment Group Co., Ltd. (600032.SH), etc.
Mrs. Xiao has served as legal counsel for several listed companies, state-owned enterprises, and research institutions. Additionally, she was a member of the legal service team for the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games Organizing Committee, providing comprehensive legal services.
Mrs. Xiao obtained her lawyer's qualification in the People's Republic of China in 2009.
