On November 20, 2023, the subscription of about 194 million new H-shares placed and issued by Zhejiang Leapmotor Technology Co., Ltd. (“Leapmotor”) for Stellantis N.V. was completed. Leapmotor raised more than HKD 8.5 billion through this issuance. In the meantime, Stellantis N.V. and Leapmotor signed a joint venture establishment agreement to set up a strategic joint venture that sells Leapmotor products in overseas markets.

After working for Leapmotor’s Hong Kong Listing in 2022, Jingtian & Gongcheng’s legal team continued to serve as the Chinese legal adviser to the issuer in this project, providing full-process Chinese legal services to the company, including professional legal services on follow-up Chinese legal matters related to this transaction.
