Recently, China Merchants Capital Investment Co., Ltd. successfully issued its first 2023 Medium-Term Notes (STAR notes) for a scale of RMB 500 million and a period of less than (or equal to) 5 years. Funds raised by this issuance would be invested on science and technology innovation enterprises in sectors such as new-generation information technology, advanced equipment manufacturing and bio-medicine through industrial investment funds and venture capital funds funded by government.
