From April 14 to 16, 2023, Jingtian & Gongcheng’s 2023 Annual Partner Conference was successfully held in Nanjing. Over 230 partners from ten offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Tianjin, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Sanya, and Hong Kong gathered in Nanjing, engaging in face-to-face interactions and jointly charting the future. Recently promoted and newly joined partners also participated in their first partner meeting at Jingtian & Gongcheng.
Zhao Yang, Chairman of Management Committee of Jingtian & Gongcheng, delivered the firm's annual work report on behalf of the Committee during the Conference. In his report, Mr. Zhao not only reviewed the achievements and gains of the past year but also summarized the firm's efforts in recruiting outstanding partners and legal teams and promoting several partners internally. Mr. Zhao stated that despite facing numerous difficulties and challenges over the past few years, the unity and unwavering enthusiasm of Jingtian & Gongcheng's team have driven the firm forward, with all partners and employees working together to achieve outstanding results in the past year.
Following Mr. Zhao's report, each member of the Management Committee delivered a detailed report to all partners, outlining the firm's progress and future plans within their specific areas of responsibility.
The Conference also passed a resolution to promote four lawyers, namely Shao Danning, Xu Lingjun, Zhang Lei, and Zhao Xiao (in alphabetical order of their surnames), as the new equity partners of the firm. They are all seasoned lawyers who have dedicated many years to their respective fields, earning the trust of clients. We also aspire to see more lawyers continually advance and excel on the distinguished platform of Jingtian & Gongcheng.
In 2023, Jingtian & Gongcheng will continue to deepen its existing businesses while also staying in step with market trends to explore new areas.
