Nie graduated from Northwestern University of Political Science and Law and obtained her EMBA degree from Antai School of Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and is currently a DBA student at HEC Nantes Business School.

Prior to joining Jingtian & Gongcheng in 2023, Nie worked at Haihua & Yongtai Law Firm for 10 years as a senior partner.

Nie specializes in corporate governance dispute resolution, corporate M&A disputes, damages to corporate interests, difficult commercial contract disputes and other litigation and arbitration, as well as corporate investment and financing and non-litigation legal practice.

In March 2015, Nie was awarded the excellent prize in the 1st Shanghai Lawyer Academic Competition for "Proxy Statements"; in March 2019, Nie was awarded the 2nd prize in the 2nd Shanghai Lawyer Academic Competition for "Publications". Nominated for the Asian Law Journal's "East China Women Lawyers of the Year Award - Local".

Nie is currently a member of the Corporate and Commercial Practice Research Committee of the Shanghai Lawyers Association, a special professor at East China University of Political Science and Law, and a part-time master's tutor at Shanghai Jiaotong University Kaiyuan Law School and Shanghai University of International Business and Economics.

Nie's main practice areas include corporate restructuring and reorganization, corporate liquidation and bankruptcy, various litigation disputes of corporate governance, and difficult civil and commercial litigation and arbitration.

In the field of university-affiliated enterprise restructuring, Nie has provided legal services for many universities and their affiliated companies, including the liquidation and cancellation of university enterprises, financial write-off and accounting, and various kinds of difficult and complicated problems left by history. His main clients include Shanghai University, Shanghai Electric Power University, Shanghai Normal University, Shanghai University of Applied Technology, Shanghai Electric Power Institute, etc.

In the field of corporate governance dispute resolution, Nie has represented target companies, actual controllers or investors to defend their rights. The legal services provided include planning and formulating plans for the protection of control rights, designing resolutions for shareholders' meetings, board meetings and other company meetings, initiating a series of disputes to defend rights, responding to various disputes, drafting project documents, providing legal opinions, etc. Representative cases include represented an investment advisor company in a securities advisory contract dispute to recover the funds advanced by the fund company to cover its position due to the stock market crash. Using the incomplete contract theory of the Nobel Prize in Economics, he constructed the logical structure of the lawsuit and defense, which was finally supported and recovered ten million RMB loss for the client.

Nie represented an enterprise (product benchmarked against Hikvision) in a betting dispute with a listed company, which went through four levels of courts from Beijing and received the affirmation of the Supreme Court that the legitimate rights and interests of the founder and the target enterprise should be paid attention to and protected when "significant influence" is exercised on the investor. More than one hundred people.

Nie represented the executives of a technology company in a number of lawsuits, including labor disputes, equity transfer disputes, and disputes over corporate resolutions, and helped the executives obtain the rights and interests they were entitled to, and helped the business venture become a brand name in its niche after it started another business.

Nie represented a coal group under a listed company (a major taxpayer in the area it belongs to) in a series of lawsuits and arbitrations for 20 years, recovering hundreds of millions of yuan in economic losses for the company.

Nie represented a wholly foreign-owned enterprise in Suzhou in a strike case, dismissing four management cadres and taking criminal measures against two employees, which was resolved smoothly in 40 days, reducing tens of millions of RMB in losses for the company.

In the area of acquisition and private financing, Nie has represented target companies or industrial investors in acquisition and private investment transactions. His major clients include Tang Bakery, KW Group, Keeling Intelligence, etc.

Nie was admitted as a lawyer in the People's Republic of China in 1999.
