Mr. JIN graduated from Tongji University with a bachelor degree in engineering and minored in law at Fudan University in the meantime. Mr. JIN received his master degree in law at Peking University.
Before joining JINGTIAN & GONGCHENG, Mr. JIN worked in Law Offices including King & Wood Mallesons as a an associate and senior associate. Before joining King & Wood Mallesons, Mr. JIN served as the legal counsel for China Construction Bank Zhejiang Branch.
Mr. JIN practices mainly in the areas of public utilities and infrastructure, real estate, corporate affairs and finance.
Mr. JIN has rich experience in infrastructure investment, particularly in Public-Private Partnership (PPP) implementation, concession, bidding, merger and acquisition, finance, restructuring which cover the areas of various industries such as sewage treatment, water supply, waste disposal, metro transportation (rail transit), energy, toll roads (bridges), municipal roads, water environment treatment, environmental restoration, utility tunnel (including oil pipeline), The Sponge City, aged support, medical treatment, Smart City, parks, scenic spots, stadiums, regional development, etc.
Mr. JIN also has rich experiences in areas of real estate development, construction projects, new town development, especially in areas of real estate development, multi-industries comprehensive development, “three old” transformation, urban renewal, land reservation and first-level development, merger, and acquisition of projects, foreign capital M&A and construction projects. Mr. JIN dealt with hundreds of real estate projects of various types.
Besides, Mr. JIN is rather experienced in merger and acquisition, foreign investment, capital markets, asset backed securitization (ABS, REITs), banking, private equity, corporate restructuring, and bankruptcy reorganization.
In the area of Litigation, Mr. JIN has rich experiences in representing various companies in their significant and complicate disputes. Mr. JIN’s clients include domestic and overseas Listed companies, foreign-invested companies, government, SOEs, private enterprises, etc. Mr. JIN’s practice areas span across the control right of corporate disputes, cooperative development disputes, loan and guarantee disputes, tort disputes, investment disputes, concession disputes, construction disputes, compensation of land requisition disputes, etc. Mr. JIN is widely praised by the clients in litigations and dispute resolution areas.
Mr. JIN is serving or has been served as an expert tutor of Tongji University, Sen Yat-Sen University, Economics and Management School of Beijing Jiaotong University, and Xiamen National Accounting Institute. Mr. JIN’s lectures cover government investment and finance, PPP, real estate, asset-backed securitization, private fund, etc.
Mr. Jin was invited to conduct special training in China State Construction International Investment Limited, Guangdong Construction Engineering Group, China Gezhouba (Group) Corporation, China Energy Engineering Group Co., Ltd, and other institutions. Mr. Jin often participates in the project reviews in various areas including investment and finance projects, concessions, and PPP projects as the key legal expert.
