Feng Chen graduated from Nankai University with master degree in economic law.
Ms. Feng has worked in Jingtian & Gongcheng since 2019 and became a partner in 2019. Prior to this, she first worked with reputable international law firms and then with leading PRC law firms.
Ms. Feng specializes in banking and finance, cross-border debt enforcement, the Belt and Road and outbound investment, private equity and venture capital. Ms. Feng is skillful in designing structures for various types of debt and equity transactions, and the related documentation and negotiation. Ms. Feng has represented well-known financial institutions, international financial organizations, investment funds and state-owned enterprises, etc. and achieved favorable comments from clients.
In the area of banking and finance, Ms. Feng has extensive experience in dealing with cross-border financing. She has provided legal services in bilateral finance, syndication finance, acquisition finance, project finance, trade finance, asset finance, sovereign borrowings and interbank loans, financial leasing, asset-backed securities, financial derivatives and general banking activities, etc.; and these legal services involve such industries as electric power, natural resources, infrastructure construction, pharmaceutical and medical industries, chemical industry, automobile and mechanical equipment manufacture, food industry, aviation industry, nonferrous metal, telecommunication and internet finance, etc.. Additionally, Ms. Feng has advised China Development Bank and Export-Import Bank of China, etc. in cross-border debt enforcement.
In the area of private equity and venture capital, Ms. Feng has represented several investment institutions and international financial organizations.
Ms. Feng was admitted to the PRC bar in 2006.
