Mr. Qingjie Wang is a partner at Jingtian & Gongcheng, where his practice is focused on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity and capital markets transactions, and joint ventures. Prior to joining Jingtian & Gongcheng in May, 2011, Mr. Wang had been a partner at King & Wood.

Mr. Wang has represented clients in connection with some of the largest and most significant M&A deals involving Chinese companies in a wide variety of industries, including energy, utilities, automobile, and consumer products. He also has worked on a large number of private equity investment, joint venture, and restructuring transactions in China involving private equity firms and multinational corporations. In addition, Mr. Wang has advised on many high-profile securities offerings, including Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) IPOs, Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKSE) IPOs and listings, and New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) listings.

Mr. Wang received his LL.B. in 1993 from Northwest Institute of Political Science and Law and his LL.M. in 2000 from the University of Connecticut School of Law.

Mr. Wang was licensed to practice China law in 1994 and admitted to the State Bar of New York in 2001.

Mr. Wang is a native mandarin speaker and is fluent in English.
