Notification of Remote Work Arrangement During Epidemic Prevention Period in Jingtian & Gongcheng

In 2020, this extraordinary Spring Festival, a sudden outbreak of COVID-19 spread all over the country. Wuhan ,the epicenter of the epidemic, touched the hearts of everyone across the country.  As a member of the Chinese society, Jingtian & Gongcheng actively raised more than 1 million RMB in the first place to purchase medical supplies for the frontliners in fighting the epidemic.

 

At present, COVID-19 epidemic is at the critical stage in terms of prevention and control. Jingtian & Gongcheng proactively responds to the national call to better prevent the spread of the virus. We aim at protecting the safety of employees and customers, meanwhile ensuring the efficient and timely development of various work. Relying on our firm’s international management system and IT technology, we have already turned on the telecommuting mode throughout the whole office. The specific arrangements are as follows:

 

1. The lawyer team responds to the client's needs through various communication methods such as mail, telephone, WeChat and video call, and handles all the work involved with the clients and the projects in a timely manner;  

 

2. Our business and document systems provide remote accessibility, which will not affect the collaborative work of business document query and handover;

 

3. Our information system supports the function of connecting to the remote terminals such as telephone conference and video conference with clients；   

 

4. Carry out due diligence and project delivery via remote and internet alternatives; 

 

5. Coordinate the application resources of third-party to meet different business needs of clients;  

 

6. Avoid unnecessary travel to the greatest extent with mutual assistance among 10 offices across the country.

 

In order to ensure everyone's safety, Jingtian & Gongcheng encourages employees to telecommute from home and take necessary protective measures. At the same time, colleagues in the back-office support department will arrange the office rotation and on-duty system to ensure the normal operation of our law firm, provide support and services to partners, lawyers, clients and buisiness partners, so as to ensure that various businesses and projects will not affected to the greatest extent.
