Zhiguo Zhang graduated from Peking University School of Law, successively obtained combined degrees in bachelor of laws and bachelor of economics, as well as the degree of master of laws.  

Zhang joined Jingtian & Gongcheng Law Firm in June 2018 and became a partner in March 2019.

Zhang once worked in the Tongzhou Branch of Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau, during which period he handled various types of criminal cases and was awarded as Outstanding Civil Servant of the Tongzhou Branch of Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau.

Zhang then worked at Beijing Yida Law Firm and has handled various criminal cases including crime of bribery, crime of official embezzlement, crime of misappropriating units funds, crime of organizing and leading pyramid selling, crime of smuggling, crime of contract fraud, as well as crime of illegal business operations, etc.

Zhang has deep theoretical knowledge and rich practical experience in the areas of criminal defense, criminal compliance, government investigation response, and crisis management and so on.
