2018 witnessed the 23rd year of the joint effort of Shanghai Xuhui District Government to assist Honghe Prefecture in Yunnan. To carry out the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Party and respond to their calling, key government units in Xuhui District such as Jingtian & Gongcheng Shanghai Branch initiated the campaign “Join Hands to Practice Assisting Honghe Prefecture in Yunan Province”
On the morning of February 28, at the initiation of Shanghai Xufang (Group) Limited Company and Mondelez International, Inc., Jingtian & Gongcheng together with other units in Xuhui District provided nutritious breakfast for 200 thousand people living under the poverty line from 4 districts in Honghe Prefecture in Yunnan Province.
Government officials of Xuhui District and Yunan Aiding Cadres stationed in Shanghai and affiliated enterprises saw off the truck filled with 30 thousand nutritious breakfast meals. This is the first time the enterprises in Xuhui District joined hands to donate resources to tackle poverty. In the future more poverty-alleviating efforts will be poured towards not only at a material level but also in the area of industry, education, job and root cause poverty alleviation.
As one of the important organizations in Xuhui District, Jingtian & Gongcheng Shanghai Branch enthusiastically responded to the Party’s initiative “Take Targeted Measures in Poverty Alleviation” by participating in aiding Honghe Prefecture in Yunan Province. Partnering with fellow enterprises in Xuhui district to campaign the charity work of “Lend a Hand to Tackle Poverty, Join Hands to Pass on Love”, the firm took concrete action to support poverty-alleviating endeavors and made large contributions to winning the battle of eradicating poverty and building a moderately prosperous society in all aspects.
We hope through this poverty alleviating efforts, Jingtian & Gongcheng will fulfill its corporate social responsibility and philanthropic obligation by effectively carrying forward the social welfare projects by joining hands to pass on love.
