In July 2015, Hu Zhengzheng, partner of Jingtian & Gongcheng was recognized as “Top 15 Rising Lawyers in China” by Asian Legal Business. This award is given by ALB to Chinese lawyers below 40 years old or with less than 10-year of practice so as to demonstrate young lawyers’ excellent customer service capabilities, superior legal professional skill and passion.

Hu Zhengzheng got his bachelor of law from Nanjing University, and master degree of Law School of the University of Leicester(cum laude) in 2004. He started working at Jingtian & Gongcheng in 2005, and became partner in 2011.

Hu Zhengzheng’s expertise is capital markets, PE investment, foreign M&A and FDI, covering industries such as value-added telecommunication, culture and film, advertisement and media, property, mining, new energy, commerce, pharmaceutical and traditional manufacturing, etc. He is especially experienced in hi-tech industries like internet, and familiar with various transaction types concerning domestic interests in overseas and domestic capital market, including PE investment at various stages, listing, M&A, debt issuance and overseas investment, etc.

Hu Zhengzheng has been responsible for listing of Chinese enterprises on HKEX, NYSE, Nasdaq, domestic Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges, and stock exchanges in other regions. He has also helped many domestic and foreign PE funds to acquire domestic assets.
