In September 2014, Beijing Chaoyang District Lawyers’ Association disclosed the result of the evaluation of “Excellent Lawyer of Chaoyang District 2011-2013”. Xu Bangwei, partner of Jingtian & Gongcheng won the award together with 59 lawyers from other law firms in Chaoyang District, which had a total of 10,000 lawyers. The winners were honored by Chaoyang District Lawyers’ Association and Justice Bureau. 

Beijing Chaoyang Lawyers’ Association was founded on December 12, 2010 and has over 10,000 lawyers. It is the largest district-level lawyers’ association in Beijing and China.

Xu Bangwei graduated from the Depart of Law of Peking University, and worked at Beijing Higher People’s Court. He has worked at Jingtian & Gongcheng for over 10 years and is one of the top young lawyers cultivated by the law firm. He is an expert on civil and commercial affairs, IP disputes resolutions, etc. and has provided legal services for domestic and foreign clients in disputes resolution and certain capital markets. He is acclaimed by clients as “professional and devoted”. After work, he is also committed to public welfares, and actively provides legal assistance to charities and disadvantaged groups to fulfill his social responsibilities.

In 2014, Xu Bangwei was selected by Asian Legal Business as one of “China’s top 15 litigation lawyers”.
