Jingtian & Gongcheng Launches 2018 Campus Recruitment Session in Shanghai

In order to attract more talents and let students have a better understanding of Jingtian & Goncheng, Jingtian & Gongcheng Shanghai office recently went to the campus to hold series of recruitment sessions, which were held at Fudan University Law School, Law School of East China University of Political Science and Law, and KoGuan School of Law of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

 

The recruitment sessions are led by Li Zhuoru, partner of human resource department of Shanghai office, and each session will have 2 to 3 partners and lawyers. They are: Fudan alumni, partner Pan Jianbo, partner Shen Ke; East China University of Political Science and Law alumni, partner Qin Maoxian and Zhang Liang from Disputes Resolution Department; partner Shen Minquan and Shanghai Jiao Tong University alumni Zhang Peng participate in the Jiao Tong University session. The topics cover Jingtian & Gongcheng’s history, specialty, achievements and world fame, etc. Partner and lawyer speakers talk about their personal experiences, and share with their alumni their thoughts, success and career development. They offer advices to the students, who are inspired by their talks.

 

The last part of the session was Q&A, and there were heated interactions. The students were mostly concerned with: 1. How to choose between employment and continued study; 2. The basic conditions and qualifications for an excellent lawyer; 3. The pros and cons working for a domestic or foreign law firm; 4. The impact of legal knowledge and foreign language skill for a lawyer and the advantages they can bring; 5. The number of interns Jingtian & Gongcheng is recruiting, training interns can get and likelihood of employment. Partners and lawyers gave detailed answers and advices to the student concerning the above questions.

 

On site and after the session, Jingtian & Gongcheng Shanghai office received many resumes. Through these campus recruitment sessions, Jingtian & Gongcheng strengthened its ties with universities and built up a reserve of talents for the Shanghai office.
