In golden September, Jingtian & Gongcheng welcomes its 25th birthday. The firm will host a series of events to celebrate its 25th anniversary.
On September 22, Jingtian & Gongcheng will host a party for the 25th anniversary to mark the beginning of a series of celebrations. All members of Jingtian & Gongcheng will get together to open champagne, cut cakes, cherish the past and look into the future. Jingtian & Gongcheng’s Shanghai, Shenzhen, Chengdu offices will join in by video conference to share the joy.
The brand-new lobby and corridor, flowery reception, colorful office areas, Jingtian & Gongcheng’s Beijing office is filled with happiness.
Following the video of “Jingtian’s Path” and the history and anecdotes narrated by partner Wu Lei, the 25th anniversary celebration party formally started. The pictures showed the young faces of the founding partners, the milestone projects of offshore and onshore IPO projects, cases won through hard works, as well as the confidence and glories of Jingtian & Gongcheng since 1992, 1994, 1997, 2000 up till now.
Zhao Yang, chairman of the management committee of Jingtian & Gongcheng said emotionally, “25 years ago when we started up the law firm, we said we want to be the century-old firm in China to provide legal services. Then Jingtian & Gongcheng gave awards to senior employees who served the firm for over 10 years, to thank them for growing together with Jingtian & Gongcheng, and providing professional services to the clients.
The six founding partners of Jingtian & Gongcheng, Peng Xuejun, Li Yuguo, Bai Weiwei, Zhang Hongjiu, Zhao Yang, as well as Zhang Xusheng, who went to Shenzhen office for the celebration and joined online, recalled their stories with Jingtian & Gongcheng from the very beginning. Burning the mid-night oil, pounding table during negotiations, arguing on court, hearing the IPO bell, quarrelling in meeting room, and drinking to heart’s content……all those moments of laughter and tears consolidate into the glory of Jingtian & Gongcheng. Behind the 25-year history is Jingtian & Gongcheng’s culture of equality, freedom and respect.
25 years have passed and Jingtian & Gongcheng is still standing on the forefront. With the joint efforts of all the colleagues, Jingtian & Goncheng will still be young in 50 years’ time and continue to achieve new heights!
