On October 13, 17, 18, Jingtian & Gongcheng held its 2016 campus recruitment sessions at Tsinghua University, China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL), and Peking University.
Partners of Jingtian & Gongcheng Bai Wei, Gao Xiang, Lang Yuanpeng, as well as Shi Qing who has just graduated from the Law School of Tsinghua University talked with students from Tsinghua University. Partners Cheng Xiaofeng, Xie Ruoting, and alumni of CUPL Chen Hao, Hu Hongbo had an intimate dialogue with students from CUPL. Partners Huang Yongqing, Dai Guanchun, Zhang Rongsheng, Chen Jinjin, as well as Peking University Law School graduate Yue Peng shared their experiences with students from Peking University.
After brief introduction about the history of Jingtian & Gongcheng, partners shared with students typical cases by Jingtian & Gongcheng. From capital projects to dispute resolution, many of these cases are ground-breaking. Many of the legal arrangements have already become standards in the fields, and some legal documents from 10 years ago are still used as templates by peers.
As excellent legal employer for many years, Jingtian & Gongcheng’s human resource policies received key attention from the student present. The career development for young lawyers in Jingtian & Gongcheng is much quicker than market average, which inspired students pursuing a legal profession. In order to have better communication with the students, Jingtian & Gongcheng will invite selected students from the three universities to visit the its Beijing office and to have a face-to-face dialogue with its partners.
That concludes the 2016 campus recruitment sessions of Jingtian & Gongcheng. Several hundred resumes are collected on site, and written and oral examinations will be arranged in November.
