“Beijing Tianjin Cooperation Demonstration Area” occupies 38 square kilometers, and is designated by the Outline of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Coordinated Development Plan as the region to accommodate non-capital functions, as well as the demonstration area for coordinated development of Beijing and Tianjin. In order to promote the demonstration area, Beijing and Tianjin will prioritize the development of emerging service industries, such as science and technology, medical and senior caring, and to promote industries such as environmental technology, healthcare, culture and education, tourism, recreation, hi-tech R&D, as well as high-end commerce and trade. Currently, the construction and development work of the demonstration area has formally started, and lands are being consolidated.
Capital Group is a large state-owned company in Beijing, and the main body responsible for the development of “Beijing Tianjin Cooperation Demonstration Area”. As the fully-owned subsidiary off Capital Group, Capital Urbanization (Tianjin) Investment Co., Ltd. will undertake the actual development work of the demonstration area.
