On December 29, 2014, Guosen Securities Co., Ltd. (“Guosen Securities”, 002736.SZ) completed its A-share IPO and was listed on the SME board of Shenzen Stock Exchange. Jingtian & Gongcheng is the legal counsel to the issuer of this project.
Guosen Securities issued 1.2 billion A shares, accounting for 14.63% of the total shares after issuance. At a price of 5.83 yuan/share, the company raised 6.996 billion yuan. According to reports by major medias, Guosen Securities’ IPO is the largest IPO in 2014 (10% of the 67 billion total funds raised by IPO), and it’s also the largest IPO of the SME board since its establishment by Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2004.
Guosen Securities is mainly involved in stock brokerage, investment banking, asset management, and capital intermediation, etc. It also conducts direct investment, futures transactions and overseas securities businesses through its wholly-owned subsidiaries.
