September 26, 2011, Ten fu (Cayman) Holdings Co.Ltd. launched its initial public offering (IPO) for a Hong Kong Stock Exchange main board listing, as the first IPOs among the tea industry of mainland China. The share offering was priced at HKD 6 with a total offering size of HKD 1.1 billion.
The issuer principally engages in tea leaves production, classification and packaging; tea snacks production and processing; tea concepts development, tea garden tour and the whole-sale and retail of tea leaves, tea snacks and tea ware. As of listing, there was a nationwide network of 1,062 self-owned and third-party owned retail outlets and sale points, covering 29 provinces, autonomous regions and direct-controlled municipalities.
Jingtian & Gongcheng represented the issuer on the PRC law in the listing.
