On November 26, 2014, Dr. Oliver Trautmann, Partner, and Mr. Yifan Zhu, legal advisor, of Noerr LLP, visited Jingtian & Gongcheng Beijing headquarters, and jointly hosted a seminar on tax arrangements for Chinese enterprises' outbound investments in Europe together with Mr. Ron Ma, Partner based in Jingtian Beijing office.

Enterprises including famous stated owned group and leading private manufacturing enterprises attended the seminar. Most of them have or are contemplating to invest or conduct M&A transactions in Europe. In the seminar, two topics, i.e. “how a Chinese enterprise designs its tax structure in Europe” and “China’s recent efforts in renewing double tax agreement with European developed countries and the impacts on Chinese enterprises’ outbound investments” were discussed deeply.
