In the afternoon on May 11, the party building seminar of Beijing lawyer industry 2017 was successfully held in Jingtian & Gongcheng. Over 20 representatives from Beijing Justice Bureau, Beijing Lawyers Association, CPC General Branch of Jingtian & Gongcheng, and CPC branches of other law firms participated in this seminar.
Leaders who attended this seminar included: Gao Peng the Head of General Guidance Division of Beijing Justice Bureau and the Executive Deputy Secretary/Secretary-General of CPC Committee of Beijing Lawyers Association, Zhao Zenghai the CPC Committee Member and the Deputy Chairman of Beijing Lawyers Association, Zhao Xiaolu the CPC Committee Member of Beijing Lawyers Association and the Managing Vice President of Beijing Lawyers Part-time Party School, Liu Jun the Vice Secretary-General of Beijing Lawyers Association, and some members on the Ideological and Moral Education Committee of Beijing Lawyers Association. Chiefs of CPC organizations of such law firms as Commerce & Finance, Global, Lvli, Haiwen, Tiantai, Dentons also participated in this seminar.
This seminar was hosted by Zhao Xiaolu the CPC Committee Member of Beijing Lawyers Association and the Managing Vice President of Beijing Lawyers Part-time Party School. Zhao Xiaolu cited that this seminar was held not only to reinforce the party building guidance from Beijing Justice Bureau and Beijing Lawyers Association to the lawyer industry but also to boost communication among CPC branches of all law firms, so as to promote the party building and its management.
Gao Peng the Head of General Guidance Division of Beijing Justice Bureau and the Executive Deputy Secretary/Secretary-General of CPC Committee of Beijing Lawyers Association, exchanged his opinions on the operation of law firms, the cultivation of young lawyers and so on. Regarding the cultivation of young CPC member lawyers to be a key part of party building of the lawyer industry, Gao Peng encouraged all CPC branches to motivate their young CPC member lawyers and to organize plenty of beneficial CPC member activities. Meanwhile, young CPC member lawyers should also be proactive in playing to their advantages, participating in and leading the party building.
Lawyer Wang Weiguo the Secretary-General of CPC General Branch of Jingtian & Gongcheng, briefed on the CPC General Branch and party members of Jingtian & Gongcheng, as well as the party building plan for the upcoming year. Leaders from Beijing Justice Bureau and CPC Committee of Beijing Lawyers Association acknowledged the party building accomplishment of Jingtian & Gongcheng during the past year after hearing Wang Weiguo’s presentation.
In addition, Chiefs of CPC organizations of such law firms as Commerce & Finance, Global, Lvli, Haiwen, Tiantai, Dentons also demonstrated their own party building during this seminar. They also actively discussed over and exchanged experiences on how to build basic party organizations of law firms and how to motivate CPC member lawyers.
Through active speeches and thorough exchange of opinions among participants, this seminar brought the party building of our firm and even of the whole lawyer industry in Beijing into in-depth discussion and analysis, indicating a direction of our future party building. We shall fully comprehend the importance and urgency of intensifying party building of the industry, pay attention to summarizing and reinforcing matured experience and approach, forge ahead, and become a trail-blazer to break new ground on party building of the industry.
