Jingtian & Gongcheng partner, Zejia Chen, has maintained a keen interest in rural development, strongly supported local education and made frequent contributions to charity organizations. During the COVID-19 outbreak in 2020, he collected 3,000 disposable medical masks and delivered them to approximately 60 teachers in rural communities via Huochaibox, which were then distributed to students as preventive measures against the pandemic. Since founding Huochaibox in 2017, Mr. Chen has donated CNY 60,000 to Huochaibox Rural Teacher Camp, sponsoring over 20 teachers in rural communities to attend training courses in Huochaibox’s Camp in Shanghai. In addition, he also uses his expertise and professional experience to provide legal advice to Huochaibox, regulate and enhance its corporate governance, human resources management system, recruitment of volunteers and improve Huochaibox’s legal compliance. Through his continuous support of Huochaibox, Mr. Chen devotes his time, attention and dedication to educators and students in rural communities through concrete action.

As a youth charity development center run by the Communist Youth League Committee of Changning District, Shanghai, Huochaibox is committed to connecting millions of rural teachers and fueling Chinese rural education. Since its founding, Huochaibox has continuously provided spiritual and material public welfare support to rural teachers, demonstrating its commitment to further its core values and social responsibility.
